The Society of Toxicology (SOT) brought together more than 5,000 people for its 63rd Annual Meeting and ToxExpo March 10 – 24 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Five members of the AxoSim team attended the annual event, which showcases the latest science and technology in toxicology and provides a platform for scientists to present cutting-edge research.

“The AxoSim team always looks forward to seeing the latest science and technology in toxicology at the SOT Annual Meeting,” said Lowry Curley, CEO and Co-Founder of AxoSim. “And this year, I was especially proud that we had two poster presentations while at the conference.”

Tyler Rodriguez presented a NerveSim® client project with AstraZeneca, and Kevin Simpson presented additional internal data in neurotoxicity and peripheral neuropathy work in Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) and chemotherapeutics.  Click the images below to view the posters.

“We are encouraged by the interest our posters generated and the relationships we cultivated at our ToxExpo booth,” Curley said. “We look forward to future opportunities to partner with the toxicology community to empower advancements in human neuroscience.”

The Society of Toxicology was founded in 1961 to create a safer and healthier world by advancing the science and increasing the impact of toxicology. The annual conference brings together toxicologists and those working in areas related to toxicology to learn and network. This year’s event featured more than 70 scientific sessions, more than 2,000 poster presentations, and a ToxExpo featuring 250 companies.
