Lise Harbom, Nicholas Coungeris, and Corey Rountree present at 2024 MPS World Summit
Three AxoSim scientists presented at this year’s MPS World Summit, which took place in Seattle from June 10 to 13, 2025. The Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) organizes MPS annually to accelerate scientific developments, their implementation, and global harmonization.

The 2024 MPS World Summit hosts included Elaine Faustman of the University of Washington’s Institute for Risk Analysis and Risk Communication, Thomas Neumann of the University of Washington’s Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Danilo Tagle of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NIH/NCATS). AxoSim VP of Scientific Affairs Thomas Hartung also served as an organizer representing the Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT).
